The adult bug resembles a light brown flattened disc, about 5mm long and can usually be

unpleasant smell.
They are nocturnal emerging at night when hungry to search for blood meals on humans and
can inflict a large number of bites which cause severe local irritation. Bites on different
parts of the body usually indicate being bitten by several bed bugs.
